After the IFA Exam: What Happens to Your Certificate
Passing the final scenario is not the end of the administrative process. Here is what happens next.
Certificate issuance
Mainland Safety Training submits your results to WorkSafeBC and issues your certificate. You receive a digital copy immediately and a printed copy within 2 to 4 weeks.
Verification
Employers can verify a WorkSafeBC OFA Level 2 certificate through the provincial registry. Keep a digital copy on your phone.
Renewal
Set a calendar reminder for 4 to 6 weeks before your expiry date. Our renewal guide walks through the process.
