First Aid on BC Film and TV Sets
Film and TV sets across BC are famously safety-focused, and the first aid attendant is part of every production. Set medics are typically Level 2 at minimum, often Level 3 for stunt-heavy work.
Unique hazards
- Long hours, fatigue-related incidents
- Stunts and special effects
- Electrical and rigging
- Location-specific: heights, water, cold, heat
- Large crews in tight spaces
Group bookings
Productions often book private onsite IFA courses before principal photography so the full crew carries current tickets.
