OFA Level 2 First Aid Attendant Pay and Premiums in BC
BC employers often pay a premium for the worker who takes on the first aid attendant role. The exact number varies, but the pattern is consistent.
Typical ranges
- Small sites: $0.50 to $1 per hour on top of base
- Moderate sites: $1 to $2 per hour
- Remote or high-hazard: flat $200 to $500 per month or equivalent hourly
Why it adds up
At $1 per hour over a 2000-hour work year, that is $2000 more annually. Over a three-year certification cycle, $6000. That typically covers the cost of the course many times over. See why employers value Level 2 workers.
