How to Add OFA Level 2 to Your BC Resume the Right Way

Adding OFA Level 2 to a BC resume is straightforward if you phrase it the way hiring managers scan for it.

Best phrasing

"WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 2 (OFA Level 2) / Intermediate First Aid (IFA), valid through [expiry]"

Where to put it

  • Top of your Skills or Certifications section
  • In a dedicated Tickets or Credentials block if you have multiple
  • Mention it in the cover letter for safety-sensitive roles

What NOT to do

  • Do not say "first aid certified" without specifying the level
  • Do not omit the expiry date
  • Do not list an expired ticket
