WorkSafeBC Schedule 3-A Explained: How to Find Your Minimum First Aid Level

WorkSafeBC's Schedule 3-A tables tell every BC employer exactly what first aid coverage their workplace needs. It looks dense but the logic is simple.

The three inputs

  • Workplace hazard rating (low, moderate, high)
  • Number of workers per shift
  • Travel time to hospital

What the tables give you

Minimum first aid kit, minimum attendant level (Level 1, 2 or 3), whether you need a dressing station or full first aid room, and whether you need dedicated emergency transportation.

Where to find it
